My Fire Emblem Wallpapers (One Per Game)
Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light
The original Famicom box art for Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. Still one of the most dramatic covers in the series, but it always leaves me wondering: where are Marth’s pants?
About the Art Directors: Tohru Ohsawa, Naotaka Ohnishi, Satoshi Machida, Toshitaka Muramatsu

Genealogy of the Holy War
The original box art for Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. Sigurd, Seliph, a thousand pegasus knights, and zero subtlety.
Art Director: Katsuyoshi Koya (古屋 勝義)

Thracia 776
One of the most polarizing games in the series. Leif’s story in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 is one of constant retreat, impossible odds, missing family, and endless ambush spawns.
Artist: Mayumi Hirota (広田 麻由美)

The Binding Blade
Smash Bros made him famous and left the world wondering, “Who is Roy?” Soon after, Fire Emblem reached the West. This art celebrates Roy’s campaign with dragons, generals, and a continent in turmoil.
Art Director: Eiji Kaneda (金田 榮路)

The Blazing Blade
The first Fire Emblem released internationally. This promo art brings Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn into center stage.
Art Director: Eiji Kaneda (金田 榮路)

The Sacred Stones
This official artwork radiates early-2000s GBA charm, spotlighting Ephraim, Eirika, and Seth.
Art Director: Sachiko Wada (ワダ サチコ)

Path of Radiance
Ike stands front and center, cape torn but resolve unshaken, framed by Elincia, Sanaki, and the Laguz leaders.
Art Director: Senri Kita (北 千里)

Radiant Dawn
This wallpaper showcases Micaiah and Sothe front and center, set against the map of Daein. The Dawn Brigade stands ready behind them, looking as heroic as they are underpowered.
Art Director: Senri Kita (北 千里)

Shadow Dragon (DS)
This piece from the DS remake delivers a cinematic battlefield moment: Marth front and center, sword drawn in a swirl of blue and violet.
Art Director: Daisuke Izuka (井塚 大介)

New Mystery of the Emblem
Marth returns to the forefront, joined by Kris, the series’ first avatar, against a tapestry of war and betrayal.
Art Director: Daisuke Izuka (井塚 大介)

Awakening
The moment the franchise was reborn. Chrom and Lucina lock swords beneath Grima’s gaze and the whole game’s theme fits in one shot.
Art Director: Kozaki Yūsuke (コザキ ユースケ)

Fates
Nohr on the left, Hoshido on the right, Azura between them. The story can be messy, but the emotional cost of your choice hits hard.
Art Director: Kozaki Yūsuke (コザキ ユースケ)

Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Alm and Celica as tragic opposites: one armored, one praying, with a fortress and storm behind them. The stillness says everything.
Art Director: Hidari (左)

Three Houses
Before they were rivals, they were students on the tower at Garreg Mach. Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude watching the sunset with no idea what’s coming.
Art Director: Chinatsu Kurahana (倉花 千夏)

Engage
Engage is one of the most divisive art shifts in Fire Emblem. Alear stands at the center of a kaleidoscope of nations, Emblems, and colors that never sit still.
Art Director: Mika Pikazo (ミカ ピカゾ)

Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE
This is Fire Emblem through the lens of pop stardom. Bright, musical, and drenched in Tokyo’s idol culture, with a textured look that stands out from the mainline games.
Art Director: toi8

Fire Emblem Cipher
Cipher wasn’t just a card game. It was a celebration of the entire Fire Emblem legacy, pulling lords from across the series into bold black-and-white key art.
I love how it reimagined so many low-res portraits as clean, dynamic illustrations.
About the Artists: Miscellaneous artists across official promos and the Fire Emblem Cipher TCG

Fire Emblem Heroes
The Fire Emblem community has a love-hate relationship with Heroes. The one thing everyone agrees on is that the art rarely misses.
Artist: Maeshima Shigeki (前嶋 重機)

Fire Emblem Shadows
We were all shocked when this title shadow-dropped. The gameplay is a departure from Fire Emblem norms, but the art still feels like Fire Emblem and leans into the “fallen” trope in a big way.
Art Director: Tetsuya Nomura (unconfirmed; speculative)

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
So much of Fódlan’s history revolves around Sothis, and Three Hopes imagines a different world where she has almost completely taken over Byleth’s consciousness.
Art Direction: Likely the Koei Tecmo and Intelligent Systems promo team

Fire Emblem Warriors
The original Warriors brought together iconic sword wielders from across the franchise and turned tactics into pure hack-and-slash chaos.

Final Thoughts
This collection isn’t just a gallery of wallpapers. It’s a timeline. From pixel roots to operatic finales, each entry shows how Fire Emblem evolved visually and emotionally.
I had a lot of fun digging through art books, promos, and special editions to pull this together. I hope at least one of these wallpapers brings you back to a game you love.
What’s your favorite era? And which game deserves the next spotlight?
