Why Our Prices Are Higher (And Why We’re Still Proud of Them)

Welcome to the FEHology Store! We wanted to be upfront with something you’ve probably noticed: our prices are a bit higher than what you’d see on bigger merch sites.

Here’s Why

FEHology is run by two fans—myself and my friend Illialidur—who just really love Fire Emblem. We started this store because we wanted merch that didn’t exist anywhere else. Stuff that made us smile. Stuff like Chrom’s boxers. I laugh every time I see those.

But here’s the deal: we’re not a big company. We don’t have inventory sitting in a warehouse. We use a print-on-demand model, which means:

• Each product is made specifically when you order it

• We don’t waste materials or overproduce stock

• We can offer niche designs without needing mass-market demand

The trade-off? Higher production costs per item.

For example, those boxers cost us $19.95 just to produce. After payment processing fees, taxes, and other overhead like web hosting and security, the actual profit per item is about $4. And that margin goes right back into running the site and commissioning original art.

This Store Is a Creative Effort, Not a Business Venture

We’ve put months into building this store from scratch—not for quick profit, but because we genuinely love what we’re doing. We’ve already worked with artists, we’re planning quarterly updates, and we want to keep improving the quality and creativity of what we offer.
